Teens!

What is SALT? We’re a group of teens interested in becoming more involved in their community and library. We collaborate to plan fun activities. SALT comes from YOU. Teens give input on what the library buys, help contribute to displays, work on the library’s Facebook, make bookmarks, volunteer at events, organize community service projects and generally influence how the library serves teens. SALT looks fantastic on job resumes and college applications, and Hannah is more than happy to write letters of recommendation/be a personal reference. Application – PDF here, fill out and return to Hannah @ the library (or attach it to an email to hkane@west-bendlibrary.org)

Teen Book Club is not for the faint of heart! Lots of these books are on college prep reading lists and have pretty challenging content. If you’re not sure if a book is for you, do some research or contact Hannah

Volunteer for summer reading! Stay tuned for more information, but in the meantime find the application here: 2017 Summer Teen Volunteer Application!
