Family Night Volunteer:

West Bend Library is looking for a volunteer to set up for our monthly Kiwanis Early Riser Family Night. This volunteer must be responsible and punctual. He or she should be able to commit to one specific Thursday evening a month. Our programs start at 6:30 and we would need a volunteer to arrive sometimes as early as 5pm. The volunteer must be able to arrange chairs and move furniture. The volunteer must be able to bend to the floor to apply masking tape. The volunteer must also be able to handle the lifting of chairs. Duties during the performance may include but not limited to, counting the people who attend, monitoring safety and asking families to abide by fire regulation, and taking pictures of the performer. After the performance, the volunteer will be responsible for putting away the chairs, removing the tape, and replacing the furniture to its regular location. Above all, a smile is a requirement.

Plant Caretaker

We need a little extra help with our plants. Currently we have a wonderful volunteer who takes care of watering our plants. We need some assistance, however, from someone who might know something about pruning and fertilizing some of our bigger floor plants and be willing to donate some of their time. There are a few cactus and tree plants that could use a little more love than staff time can give right now.
