“Be With Me Today” Film and Discussion

Is anyone you know and love experiencing dementia? “Be With Me Today,” a video presentation by Dr. Richard Taylor offers insights into the experience of the early stages of dementia from someone who is living with this disability. Taylor is a Texas psychologist who was diagnosed with dementia at age 58. Today at age 66, he writes and speaks about the disease and how he hopes he and others will be supported in finding purpose in their lives. Following the 50-minute video, staff from Lutheran Social Services will facilitate a discussion of Dr. Taylor’s observations. For more information on the documentary, click here. A newlywed couple recovers from a car accident that puts the wife in a coma. Waking up with severe memory loss, her husband endeavors to win her heart again. Our Catalog Has Changed. Check It Out!

There’s been some confusion with the drop down menu under “Catalog/Account”. By clicking the words “Catalog/Account” you can access both the library catalog and your library account to view holds, checkouts, and fines.

The drop down menu under “Catalog/Account” now includes a duplicate link to access the new SHARE catalog.

IMPORTANT - To log in to your account, go to the catalog and click “Log In” or “My Account” on the upper right corner of the blue catalog page. A pop-up window will appear where you can type in your Library Card Number and PIN. Once you are logged in your name will appear at the top of the screen and you will be able to see your Personal Information, Checkouts, Holds, and Fines.

“Catalog/Account” is a link.

The WISCAT and Overdrive catalogs have been moved to the Online Resources drop down menu.
