LIBRARY OUTREACH SERVICES
From our door to yours!
Library Service for the Homebound and Special Needs Residents of Washington County sponsored by: Washington County Library Services Board, Cities of West Bend and Hartford, and the Villages of Germantown and Slinger.
HOMEBOUND DELIVERY
Who Qualifies?
If you are a resident of Washington County and you are unable to visit the library because of physical limits or special needs, the library will deliver materials to you. (Village of Kewaskum residents must contact their local library for service.)
What materials are available?
We have books, large print books, books on tape, magazines, music, videos, and DVDs. The Outreach Services Librarian will assist you in selecting materials that are right for you!
SPECIAL MATERIALS
Large Print Books: Many books, both fiction and
non- fiction, are published with a print that is larger and more easily
read.
Audio Books: In this popular format, the book is read to a cassette tape or compact disc and can be played on a standard speed cassette player or CD players.

We offer these same services to people who reside
in assisted living residences or in limited and extended care facilities. The
Outreach Services Librarian also works with activity directors and therapists to
provide materials that will assist them with their programming for
residents.
