2018 Cookbook Sale

The 4th Annual Cookbook Sale is coming up on May 11 and 12, 2018!

We are currently accepting cookbook donations. If you have an overcrowded cookbook shelf, donate ones you haven’t used in a long time to the Library’s Annual Cookbook Sale! We accept any and all cookbooks; including church/organization recipe books and WEnergies annual cookie books. However, please no appliance instruction manuals or magazines.

Art, craft, and visual art books are also included in the annual Cookbook Sale. We are currently accepting craft and art book donations.

If you’re looking for a new craft hobby or to learn more about a famous artist, then make sure to stop by in May. And, if you would like to freshen your craft books, donate you old one to the Library’s annual Cookbook Sale….and Art/Craft books sale!

All donations can be dropped off at the library’s Circulation Desk.

We are in need of Sendik’s RED plastic bags to use at the annual Cookbook Sale. If you have a pantry full of these sturdy bags, please consider thinning out your stash and donating clean bags to the Cookbook Sale.

NEW this year – we are in need of CLEAN cloth or reusable bags to use to pack up purchased books at the annual Cookbook Sale. Many businesses and organizations give/sell cloth or reusable bags, and we begin to accumulate more than we use or need. Please consider donating some of your cloth or reusable bags to the annual Cookbook Sale to give to patrons who purchase books. Please make sure the bags are clean and are not ripped.

Friday May 11, 2018 – 10am – 4pm
Saturday May 12, 2018 – 9am – 1pm
Sale is located in the Library’s Story Room

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the annual Cookbook Sale are used to purchase new cookbooks in 2018. Proceeds from the sale of art/craft books are combined with cookbook sale profits and used to purchase new cookbooks.

All variety of cookbooks, including church/organization recipe books and WEnergies annual cookie books, are available.

Various craft books and visual art books will be sold at the Sale, too.
